School is starting soon...WOW.

So, it's about back to school time.  I have been working in my room for the last three weeks.  Newsflash--big difference between us elementary minded people and high school people in amount of time in room prior to school starting.  I am trying to not be "cutesy" but efficient in my high school classroom.  I have always thought that I spend more time in my classroom than at home so I like it to be comfortable..I am trying to restrain myself...  I am teaching self contained high school special education this year.  Big Gasp, no I don't know what I am doing but I am pretty adequate at faking it til I feel it.  That was the best lesson I learned my senior year of college. :)
Been a busy summer.  Seems like I have not had a really good break.  I am busy all summer with cheer it seems.  The boys have been good.  Gage is going back to daycare and getting back on schedule.  We got him a big boy bed and redid his room a bit.
Luke has been to Dallas for 3 weeks and returned home...  Now he is getting ready for his senior year....I have decided I might cry all year long...:(Where has the time gone???
We have spent a lot of time this year improving our yard.  We have gotten new furniture, we are trying out a pool to see if we want a long term investment, gotten a swing set, and now we are redoing our front  flower bed....  Looking pretty good.
Oh well, hope everyone is safe...

Confessions

Okay i am confessing (via my cell phone). I love bad tv. As i watch the view with bethany frankel today i had this thought.... Man i miss her show. I wonder how her husband jason is. Okay what am i thinking? I dont know this person or her husband. But i am totally sucked into the whole reality tv business. These different characters have become my friends? Really? I have always said watching some of these
Shows just makes me feel like a better person. Lol. What are my favorites? Jersey shore real housewives from any city. Bethany. Khardashions. Audrienna. Wow i know. Crazy. But a new love is cake boss. Pickers. And pawn stars. Btw i dvr all if these just to cut through the comercials ;)
Confession 2: i have been blog stalking. I really need to decorate my house so i have been looking at random blogs to get ideas. But i feel wierd when i end up reading about the lives of random people i will never know. Oh well i think that is why we blog right? Okay i feel better confessions are good for the soul, right? (disclaimer-iphone and fat fingers=bad typing...sorry)

It's me again...really!

So after many great snows this season, we finally got out of school in June...yes June.  Gage enjoyed the snow angels...Luke enjoyed sleeping in all day... notice not many pictures of Luke...I have a ton from Prom that I will add later this week....  yes Prom was in May, but I have been a busy girl...

In February we had a Spider Man Party for Gage...we are still just having family parties... we were going to have a big party this year, but with the snow and my basketball schedule, it just didn't work out for us...

I once again got a strawberry homemade cake for my birthday...  Bryan did a great job, as always!

Chelsie has become a fixture in our family...She is a sweetheart and hopefully will stay around a while, Gage likes her just as much as Luke does... LOL

This is one of the only Easter pics with Luke's eyes open...He just woke up for the picture.... I promise...

His hair has now been cut, thanks to the baseball team...

What have we been up to?  Well I have had cheer camp and just finished the fireworks stand.  YIPEEE...  love my kids this year.  I am moving to the high school next year to teach...This makes me a little nervous, but whatever is meant to be will be....that is what I live by.

Bryan has a new job.  He is working at Tyson Corporate Offsite.  He is working with support on a new inventory program...I don't really understand.  

Luke just had senior pictures made...yes GASP, I have already started my year of tears... The cardinals went to the state tournament again this year..  They sported their mohawks with pride....  He won State on the ACE team and was awarded a key to the city with the rest of the team...That was pretty neat.  He is pretty excited about his schedule next year because he is taking all AP stuff he likes (psychology, and I don't know what else)  Comp I and II... and no math or science or spanish...HA!

Gage is into absolutely everything...This child will wear me out...I know I was too young to have Luke but I feel too old to keep up with Gager!  He is all boy and into jumping and wrestling and rough, rough, rough...He makes me laugh because he is very stubborn and has such a sassy spirit... I always have great "gage" stories....  He loves Luke and Chelsie and is convinced that they are his "best" friends...which is sweet....

Okay, I have met one of my goals this week which was updating my blog.  I will update with Luke's prom pictures soon because they are soo good and I rarely get a good shot of Luke with his eyes OPEN...

Happy New Year!

I am updating with pictures and news.
My state cheer group ended up state runner ups... Disappointing to us because they hit their routine and it was the best it ever has been.  Cheer is so subjective.  But, on to another year.  I am very proud of them.
Luke is in Dallas with Johnny right now, he will be taking his ACT soon as he is finishing his junior year.  Gage is going from being buzz to woody to iron man to spiderman with a little wolverine thrown in to!  He is in a big superhero phase which is cute.... plus he loves toy story.
Bryan has transferred from the 414th in Joplin to a unit out of Barling (near Ft Smith).  It is a logistical training unit and supposedly non deployable, but you know the army, who knows!

what, I am updating??

okay, these are my latest  children.  They are actually great kiddos and this weekend was their first competition.  They did great, with four music mistakes that really chapped my hide.... They are good kids who work really hard...I am proud of them!!!

This is pimp delicious who just turned 17!!!  Where does the time go?  I am really
proud of him and he is a good kid.  The picture below is his latest love.. Her name is Chelsie and he says
she is super cool because she doesn't like drama.  That is my son, he likes the simple girls!  She is a cutie.

And of course, who can forget my Gager???  He loves, loves, loves Toy Story.  HE is either woody or buzz depending on the day!  He loves his new school and is doing well.  He learns spanish and sign language.  IT is so cute to see him sign his letters and simple phrases.

THings are ticking along here.  I know I don't update often, but I am sooo busy.  I work all day and coach til about 4:30, which with my drive gets me home about 5:30, then of course, being "betty crocker"  I cook dinner...HA HA HA , get the boys ready and go to bed around 11.  B is still at Tyson and playing army in his spare time.  He is the rear detachment commander at the 414th and so he is always busy.

new places, new faces.... new year

Well, I have started at my new place of employment.  It has been a good year so far.  Hectic... Friday night is Pride Night, kinda a scrimmage, introduce fall athletes.  IT is a major fundraiser for my cheerleaders and a major piece of work for those of us putting it on... can't wait til it is over.  Then we will be full swing football and min-clinic bound.  Go Blackhawks! :)

To all my teacher and school buddies, I hope you are all having a great year.  The beginning of the year always reminds me of good ole' Prescott High Football.  I paid a visit to PG the other day, I would love to get to D-town and T-town sometime.

update..

So we went to Branson and Silver Dollar City last weekend for a get away.  We stayed at Rock Castle resort and had a good time.  It had an indoor water park.  We did a little shopping.  Bryan his the Polo outlet and of course I went to good ole Coach.  Gage had a blast in the water.  Luke didn't get to go because he had to work. :(  This weekend is my pea ridge camp.  I am posting a pic of my new squad.  Also I am going to post pics of us on the rides.  Gage loved them all.  I had to ride the little roller coaster and B had to hit the dumbo ride.  It was a fun weekend.  Also I am posting a pic of chief and one of gage playing in the back yard.  Luke is not allowing me to photograph him at this moment. :(
