Gage's Birthday

Okay, I am updating after Gage's party and I just uploaded my pics backwards, oh well. It has been a rough week. THey made up their first Saturday while I hosted that family at the party. My job is becoming very tough and I find myself questioning this whole special education deal. I have never felt like such a bad teacher. Oh well, enough about that, on with the party. We just had a three year old party, so we only included family again this year. I will put information under the pictures to tell you what was going on. Gager picked out the mickey Mouse theme...:)

The boys and everyone came in to watch the opening of presents..Notice that Logan has on the mickey mouse ears...:)

Gager in his "trucker hat" it was his Mickey Mouse party hat.

He stopped to pose in his Mickey Mouse ears as well.

Gage thought that everyone should get a gift, so we had a hard time getting him to open them. Cassie offered to help and so did Kami, I just didn't catch all three in a picture. Cassie was good to play with gage and entertain him.

The room for the party. Gage was so excited when I was setting it all up. He couldn't wait.

I tried a cupcake stand type cake. I made millions of cupcakes...well 48 seems like a million. I did chocolate and white cake with red, chocolate or white frosting with polka dots. I put in oreos for mouse ears. After I filled the tower I took the millions of oreos that I broke and blended them to put on top of some of the cup cakes. Then I took Gages name and hot glued it to the tower.

Another view of the cake with three containers of candy. I put a mickey mouse cut out on the glasses to carry out my little theme.

And that was that. WE also had a sandwich ring, punch and fruit trays...They ate all the food this year, so I guess it was a hit. We had Kim, Carl and the boys up, Stacey and the kids, Shanna and the girls and then of course mom and dad. Luke had fun hanging with Logan and Zayne....
I think it was a great day.
Gage loved all his toys. He got so much and is still playing hard today!!

Take care,
JB

What's going on lately?

A couple of weekends ago, we decided we needed a get away from NWA. Bryan and I went to LR to the Clinton Library. IT was a fun weekend, the library is a must if you haven't gone...

Gage waiting on a piece of my "cake".
Let's see our millionth snow this year...Jan 29...We have lots of ice and snow. Gage loves playing in the snow. Bryan said he would just lay down in it..
Gage and Daddy posing in the snow.
My birthday cake this year.. Bryan did good. Strawberry with strawberry icing. This was yet another snow day from school. Don't you love that I was up and with it--nasty hair and in my bath robe.. LOL

This has been a busy month. Getting into the swing of things at school. Hosted 77 little girls this past week for a "little Tiger" Cheer Clinic. They perform at the next home game. Started a new class, this is my last for my special ed certification. It is going to be a "booger". Yikes.
Luke got a new car..well new to him, a mustang...Long story, but the blazer sucked...Too much work..so he now has a mustang and he thinks he is "THE MAN"...the other day he told me the car was a chick magnet..WOW..
And that's about it.
Bryan went to Pennsylvania for the Army for a week. Gage is still into just about anything... Got his mouth washed out for the first time last night...however, I am blaming my husband for that one. :)
Hope everyone is well!

Update

Below you will see lots of pics. Today we are enjoying our third snow. I gave myself today as a deadline for adding pictures. We have been busy and lazy. Christmas at mom's and then the bunting family.... Then Christmas Day at Shanna's house. Luke has gone and returned home from Dallas... We had a nice New Year's Dinner at Mermaids, then stopped by a hole in the wall establishment... And have recovered from that experience.
Back to school tomorrow...
I hope you are all doing well. LOVE AND PEACE JB

quick post

just a quick post...I have some newer pics to put up...but I am in my classroom.. shhh don't tell. :) Actually we just got back from a nice lunch. We were all (the entire middle school, secretaries, lunchroom ladies, etc.) taken to the Catfish Hole for a Christmas treat. I thought that was an awesome gesture from the administration. ... Anyway, now I am full and waiting for my planning period to be over....
I was sitting this morning being a little nostalgic... I told Bryan during the Thanksgiving break that I really wished I was going home to Prescott for the holidays...I guess it is me getting "OLD" or something, but ya know I miss that feeling of going "home"... Not growing up in Dardanelle, it just doesn't have the same feel. Anywho, I had to smile and think about stuff...today my hair is kinda poofy and it reminded me of some pics I have from when Traci J. would come get me and we would cruise town... and then I thought of dropping my valarie's grannies at Christmas to hang out.... SO many memories, seems like a lifetime ago. I talked to Stef last night and she told me I needed to send out Christmas cards.... I know I am a loser.. I just am not good at those...I will put pics on here for those that want to see.
One more day of school... I need this break. I have a cheer party tonite, go to mom and daddies for mom's family on Saturday, then Bryan's family on Sunday... then Shanna's on Christmas day. Busy but good times.
I hope everyone has a safe, healthy, happy holiday season.
Love and Peace,
JB

It's beginning to feel a lot like.....Fall? Christmas?

Well...I wanted to add our pic from the Hogs game the other day...It was Bryan's first... He seemed to enjoy it. I really can't lie...I of course just watch the cheer squads. Actually this time, I enjoyed watching the students' section. ...
2 days and we are off for a whole week for Thanksgiving....I am so needing this.
Not much going on....a little of cheer, a little dieting, a little Christmas thinking...the typical late November "stuff".
I hope everyone is having a fabulous fall...It is just starting to get a little chilly up our way. I am anxious to see the weather in Dec. when we go to Denver....I might come back a popsicle..(sp? that doesn't look right..)
Anywho...I need to get my Gager to sleep.
Peace and Love,
JB
