just a quick post...I have some newer pics to put up...but I am in my classroom.. shhh don't tell. :) Actually we just got back from a nice lunch. We were all (the entire middle school, secretaries, lunchroom ladies, etc.) taken to the Catfish Hole for a Christmas treat. I thought that was an awesome gesture from the administration. ... Anyway, now I am full and waiting for my planning period to be over....
I was sitting this morning being a little nostalgic... I told Bryan during the Thanksgiving break that I really wished I was going home to Prescott for the holidays...I guess it is me getting "OLD" or something, but ya know I miss that feeling of going "home"... Not growing up in Dardanelle, it just doesn't have the same feel. Anywho, I had to smile and think about stuff...today my hair is kinda poofy and it reminded me of some pics I have from when Traci J. would come get me and we would cruise town... and then I thought of dropping my valarie's grannies at Christmas to hang out.... SO many memories, seems like a lifetime ago. I talked to Stef last night and she told me I needed to send out Christmas cards.... I know I am a loser.. I just am not good at those...I will put pics on here for those that want to see.
One more day of school... I need this break. I have a cheer party tonite, go to mom and daddies for mom's family on Saturday, then Bryan's family on Sunday... then Shanna's on Christmas day. Busy but good times.
I hope everyone has a safe, healthy, happy holiday season.
Love and Peace,
JB

It's beginning to feel a lot like.....Fall? Christmas?
Well...I wanted to add our pic from the Hogs game the other day...It was Bryan's first... He seemed to enjoy it. I really can't lie...I of course just watch the cheer squads. Actually this time, I enjoyed watching the students' section. ...
2 days and we are off for a whole week for Thanksgiving....I am so needing this.
Not much going on....a little of cheer, a little dieting, a little Christmas thinking...the typical late November "stuff".
I hope everyone is having a fabulous fall...It is just starting to get a little chilly up our way. I am anxious to see the weather in Dec. when we go to Denver....I might come back a popsicle..(sp? that doesn't look right..)
Anywho...I need to get my Gager to sleep.
Peace and Love,
JB

already november?
I know my few faithful followers have given up on me uploading any pictures..but finally, here they are. Last weekend we celebrated Luke's birthday...he was 16 on Monday... If I didn't have any gray hairs before (HA) I certainly do now..
This weekend was of course trick or treating with Gage. Not many houses particiated...I don't know if it was because of the hogs game or what. At any rate...we only hit a few houses, but he really didn't know the difference.
One more week of football and then it is basketball season. I am ready for THANKSGIVING break..
Hope everyone is doing well..

wow.
Okay, why am I awake right now... can't answer that one. It has been a wierd week. I need to be exercising, but I don't want to. HMMM, great attitude, right?
I missed my classes this morning to go work on my special ed. class... Thank goodness they are helping me. I miss class tomorrow afternoon to have a special ed meeting. Then, on Friday we go to St. Louis.
We found out today that Luke doesn't want to go camping for his birthday. I invited the fam over for cake on the 25th. I can't believe that my boy is turning 16! How old am I??? Where does the time go????? WOW>
So, this week has had its ups and downs. Cheer drama...why can't there just be none. You know in a perfect world, they would come, work out, cheer, practice and everyone would do what they are supposed to and not fuss. Of course, this isn't a perfect world. LOL!!!
I find that I do dwell on the negative a tadbit. HA, just a tad, right?? But really I can't stand it. I wish I could be one of those people who paste on a smile everyday and just roll with it, but I can't. I call myself a realist, others might use a word that starts with a B.... but really, wouldn't life just be so much simpler if everything was just ROSY? But hey, what would we have to gripe about?!?!
I know none of that just made any sense at all... but for those of you living in my little public school world right now, maybe you understand.
I think maybe I worry too much. (gee, I have never heard that before!) But really, at the end of the day I have to be a peace with what I do and I think that involves giving it 100%.
Anywho, what a random post. I guess, maybe these random thoughts are why I can't sleep....
Gager is going to be a skeleton pirate for Halloween. Don't ask what that is...but it is something. Luke wants to go to some party. Oh lord, let the good times roll....
I will post pictures soon...I promise.
Peace and Love.. Jamie Bunting

is it summer yet?
IT has been forever since I posted. I actually got on to put up a picture, but realized I am on the wrong lap top... (we have 2 laptops and then Luke's computer..) Typical of me lately.
Things are crazy. Cheer has been good til this past week.....Oh well, those of you that coach cheer probably know what I am talking about... It is week 3 of the season...Hmmm.. The girls are pretty good. They get a little sloppy when they aren't focused.. those are just bad habits.
Gager "peed in the potty" for the first time today...I am a bad momma letting them potty train for me...
Luke is getting antsy about driving..seems he has a new love interest...It is so funny to watch them go from one girl to the next and of course claim it is "LOVE"...
School is okay. Sped is a different field. My online class is kicking my butt, but I am hanging in there.
Went to D town and saw the girls cheer. They looked good, but it made me feel old...Where does the time go...? Held Paige's baby. HE is a cutie.
Oh well, going to Chicago this weekend for B's reintegration class...it is mandatory. I would say I will enjoy the break, but I think I will be doing lots of homework.
Peace and love and chocolate..
LOL Jamie

only a few days left..
okay, it is official. I am stressed. School starts next week and my cheerleaders perform the first tme on Thursday. Yikes there are not enough hours in a day... My class is almost complete, but I have to get my IEP's and hand those out. And then I have to plan for next week... and on an on and on. I have such a long to do list..
Then in PG there are all these things that are always done, but nobody contacts you about to explain...Big time example is some clolthesline fair busines... Oh well. I will figure it out eventually.
My girls looked great at cheer camp and I hope they stick it at black and gold game....
For you cheer lingo people... they are dong a cheer w/ backhandspring load ins, kickstand out, preps to extention to prep full downs...then they chant and do a dance and do a ticktock then turn out and hitch..
WOW. pretty good for their first show.
Oh wel, Luke is at mom's for a few days, he has open house Monday. Gager has been sick. Hopeflly he is on the mend...
B is doing great.
Good luck next week to all my educational friends. love ya, JB

Hey... Okay, So we went to get Bryan at Shelby and then to New Orleans...Nobody was impressed much with New Orleans, so after the aquarium we left a day early and went to Destin. The boys seemed to have fun just hanging out. They met some young ladies from Louisiana and we saw very little of them..LOL B went parasailing and seemed to enjoy that. Gager loved the ocean and the waves. He would have been all over the placehad we let him. Then we headed home. Since we have been home we had a family cookout..Note the wonderful cake from Rick's bakery... I have been having cheer and taking ANOTHER class. B went back to work this week. We bought Luke a blazer. It is used, but I think it is a cool first car...He leaves to go to Dallas tomorrow. While he is there he will go to a baseball camp at texas tech. Gage is growing like a weed. He is saying abc's and counting (even in spanish) a little. He is funny and is loving having his daddy home...
Hope all is well with everyone... I posted a few of my fav pics... Enjoy!

Hey Hey Hey

Fun in the sun
I took the boys to take pics this weekend at the battlefield in prairie grove. We willhave to go back again to look around. It seemed pretty nice.
I have been working at Vista and with my cheerleaders. They are a fun group of girls. So far, so good...
Luke is done with school. His schedule is tough next year.... needless to say he is loaded... pre ap physical science, AP Us History, spanish, speech, Pre Ap Alg 2, Pre AP English, and then baseball at semester. He was also in Anatomy and Physiology, but we got him switched to East... he has been driving more lately and is getting better.
Gage is just a hoot. He has a sock monkey that B sent him named "boots". This weekend, he has boots sitting at the table, feeding him... then he had to put him in bed for night,,night... last time I checked boots was at the table reading.... he is something else... he like to swing with Luke pushing him...
Oh well, two more days of Vista school....then freedom...
22 days and counting for Bryan... Yippee..
take care, JB

rain, rain, go away!!!
Does it ever really stop raining??? goodness, we have had a ton of rain... and I don't like it...
Well, I am official so I will give details...I am the new resource teacher 5 and 6th grade at Prairie Grove and also the Junior High cheer coach... I am excited. They do a lot of inclusion and the lady that I am replacing said I will only have about 8 kiddos next year.. with very few pullouts..WOW..I can't imagine.
Anywho, I am planning my classroom, going to Lit Lab in Searcy this summer and starting my cheer practice. I conditioned the girls yesterday. Most of them have never ran before, so this is going to be an experience. They are all super sweet and seem super excited.... they say that they are anyway, we will see how that is. THe parents are nice so far. This is just new to me, because they haven't ever really had anyone that practiced during the summer and definitely prolly not anyone who is as OCD as I am about cheer... oh well, my friend Julie told me I was going soft already because I left out a few things in my conditioning routine...they just didn't have the bleachers I needed them to run.... or boxes to jump...I don't think I am taking it too easy on them, but I am excited that they seem ready to have a "coach" not just a sponsor...
Luke has 3 technical days of class left. They get out early during testing and he gets two exemptions, so he only has 4 semester tests... downhil slide...
Gage is doign well, just has a little personality on him.... He is funny and sometimes has a "devil" laugh...I think he is very mischevious..... HMMM
Bryan has 30 days and counting... technically like 29 days.... sometimes it seems like these days are just flying by. We will pick him up at Shelby, head to New Orleans and Destin for a few days and then come home... I think we will prolly do a cook out at the house when we get home...
oh well... only a few more days in the Vista school year. THANK GOD... because at the rate this place is going I could possibly be admitted... oh well, positive thoughts...downhill slide..........
OH well, peace and love JB

Hmmm
Well, I wanted to update with pics..but I haven't taken any.... :( Let's see, the school board meets so that I am going to be "official" tomorrow... I have my first cheer meeting on Tuesday.. Bryan comes home in 37ish days....then it is off to Destin and to New Orleans... yippee.... Luke has 2 weeks of school left. Baseball is over for the school year and ended well. He got a History award the other night... was inducted into NJHS the other day.... Gage had his end of the year ceremony at daycare. He was on stage for itsy bitsy spider... did the motions and kinda sang the Wheels on the Bus... Whoo Hoo...it was cute. Has been sporadically pee pee ing in the potty, but is certainly not consistent. We saw B on the webcam yesterday...it was the first time we have seen each other since January...he has lost lots of weight...down to like 190.... must be nice.... my new diet restarts tomorrow. I have 30 + days to look slim and trim...HA!
I kept the kids for Mother's Day...my sisters went to Vegas... fun... B sent me flowers and chocolates that never arrived... my flowers did, they were pretty.... ummmm.... we went to confirmation today for my niece Kori.... then to eat with the family... then home for a big ole' nap... I love naps...
I don't think I have much other news.... Hope everyone is safe and well..... JB

update
just a quick update... my sympathy goes out to Judge Jim Hudson's family in Texarkana. He passed away this past weekend. He was a great man. I am sure that he will be greatly missed.
Some job news.. but I don't want to totally jinx it... the board meets on the third monday and I will post after that... but I am excited.
Luke's team lost at state today, so high school baseball is over for the year. He is getting an award Thursday night and I am proud of him.. will post more when I know the details.
Gage is getting big. We go next week for ears to be rechecked. He might have to have some surgery again on the right ear or something to clear it up... I don't understand those details either.
Things are moving right along. Bryan has 49 more days in country... I am ready for him to be home. we have a trip to Destin and New Orleans planned for when he flies in. I am pretty excited. Trying to get my beach body in gear. HA!
oh well..more later. Love JB

Easter
Welll, we went to Stacey's for Easter dinner.... it was a rainy, yucky day in NWA. We tried to take pics before we left... I will post one of Gage while Luke was showering... Then one of the two of them, then the melt down that ended it all... Oh well, my boys...
Luke only has two games this week.. then it is district. we are not having the best season, so let's just hope we make it to the regional tournament...
I have an interview on the 20th for a job in prairie grove. I am pretty much just trying to get some options for next year. I hear good things about prairie grove. It is small like dardanelle... I figure there is a plan for me out there somewhere and I will end up where I am supposed to be.
Luke went to the Razorback game with a buddy the other night.. then mom came to watch gage yesterday and she went with the rest of the family... gage and I took a nap while that was going on...
I have no gossip... Oh, I will say that Bryan lost a friend this weekend. He has had a rough time with it. He sounded really better this morning, but I know that he wishes he could come home... we are in the 70+ day category and believe me, the countdown has begun...
Say a little prayer for B's friend Jason's family and for my job situation...(oh and for Judge Jimmy Hudson from Texarkana, a great man, who is really sick right now!)
Love and Peace

back to the grind...
A quick update... I will post spring pictures soon!!! We are about to run to dardanelle to surprise Dad for his 65th birthday...WOW!! His birthday isn't until next weekend (4 4 44) but he will be in the Turkey woods...We thought (stacey pointed it out actually) that he might be in the dumps because his friend Billy Don from Prescott passed away and his best friend from high school JD's dad passed away...so we might just give him a surprise.... Anywho...
Spring break is almost over..I am very sad, I don't want to go back to work, but OH WELL>.. I have an interview next weekend, it is just a group interview, like a prescreen so I am not getting too excited...
We woke up yesterday to snow...this is crazy weather here...today it is bright, shiny, and about 50 outside.
Gage peepee'd in his potty yesterday...when it played music he was in shock.. he is so funny...he was dancing to Nogin and then started clapping for himself and took a bow... What a personality he is getting, he loves to mock Luke and do everything he does, which is funny for us, but not for Luke!!!
Luke was in school this week, but he was pretty sick on Friday, so he stayed home... most of his games were cancelled due to our lovely weather...
Oh well, gotta get on the road. Love and Peace

Wow a whole month!
Well, I can't believe it has been a month since I posted.. Lots going on.. taking two classes this semester to keep me busy... baseball has started, and I have been in a big ole' funk.. I added some pics of Gage's 1st visit to chucky cheese.. I took my niece, nephew, gage and a grouchy old Luke to chucky cheese.. don't even know how to spell it!! LOL.. they had fun, kept them occupied for a bit and Gage was most definitely not scared of the big mouse... I have no pics to add of Luke, so I added one he took of the back of his new baseball coat... He is pretty proud. He is getting some JV playing time, which he is satisfied with because he is only a freshman...He is starting to like Farmington a lot more... We just did his schedule for next year... It is PReAP Physical Science, AP Algebra II, Pre AP English, AP World History (a junior class?), hopefully Spanish, Arkansas History/ Baseball, and I think maybe either a keyboarding, AP Geography or a Anatomy and P hysiology class... The electives still have to work themselves out.. He did this all by himself.. tends to like the history classes a lot.. and he might want to be a physical therapist this week, so he is interested in the Anatomy class... Gage is doing well... went "poop" on his potty chair today without me knowing, just came to get me after he climbed on his white sheets with a dirty bottom... don't ask... I bought him some pull ups, so when I get everything together I guess we will start potty training, unless he does it himself in the mean time.. LOL... Bryan made "captain" this week, so yippee for us, higher rank, more pay.. he also crosses his 10 year mark this April so even more fundage comes our way.... I am glad that my husband being gone for 2 of the 3 years that we have been married is worth something,... but I would rather have him home than the money...
My new plan is to exercise, eat right, and tan starting this week... we will see how that works out, it was my plan two weeks ago as well and so far I haven't had the will power to stick with it... OHHHHHHHHH WELLLLL... I guess I better git, got bills to pay, a baby to bathe and it is night night time for me...

Happy Valentines and Birthday Gage
I hope everyone had a great Valetine's Day... Bryan sent me roses and chocolate covered strawberries... they were yummy! I sent him a little box of goodies as well, I put some heart confetti in it to make a good mess for him... LOL, it was great!
After a horrible week, and I do mean horrible... Luke and Gage were both sick on Monday, then Gage was sick all week with high fevers.... I had nobody to hellp take care of him, so I missed even more work... then my friend Mary (bless her heart) came from Gravette to help on Thursday and Mom came up Thursday night and watched him on Friday... we had Gage's party on Saturday... I went a little overboard and had an edible arrangement made and then got a cake from Rick's Bakery and had a sandwich tray... It was just family for the party... we really missed B though...
Oh well, just a quick of update... Hope everyone is great..J

Funny pics
These are funny pics I just got from my friend from college... This is Haley B, she is an insurance person for State Farm in Dallas area, Christie Bingenhiemer, who is a special ed teacher in Maumelle, me and Stephanie who is a teacher at Lakeside in Hotsprings.... We were on our way to a Sig Tau Party at Henderson on this night. I think it was a fall party at the beginning of the year... This is funny, I think Haley is trying to "strike a pose"...
oh well, thought I would share...JB
ahhh
Well, we went back to school/work today... Yipee. It was good to finally get back on schedule and get on track.. I tried to put pics of the storm on, but no luck...
I am working on my classwork and it is HARD this semester. I took a different professor and I am not sure that it was a good decision.
We were only without power a total of 18-24 hours. Most of the people at work were just getting theirs back yesterday and today....I couldn't even imagine that.
I hope everyone is warm and safe. More updates later.

Well, let's see.. B finally made it back to Afghanistan. His sleep pattern is totally off and he is having trouble sleeping. It really stinks, but hopefully he will get back on track soon. I am trying to get back on my own schedule. I am worn out.. Kinda in my own little funk. Have you ever just been like, what am I doing... I am really questioning my job right now... Something just doesn't feel right and I don't know what... I think I am in a funky mood, but I might be ready to go back to public schools. I miss the "real" teaching... seeing a light go on in their eyes, or exciting a kid about learning, doing fun projects and really being involved with your students...(to all your perverts, I do not mean involved in any inappropriate ways!) I just miss "knowing" my kiddos... I do think it is important for the kids I teach to have a good rapport, or a positive classroom experience, but I get most of them for 7 or 8 days at a time... and it is against the rules to have any contact once they leave (and you don't generally want to...) so it isn't the same... Like I said I am in a funk and I know everything happens for a reason... so we will see what happens next year. I am fixing to start my 2 classes this week... Fun Fun, Teaching kids with emotional disorders and mild disabilities... Maybe I want to teach younger children...Wow, I can't believe I just said that...
Gage is having to getback in his own little schedule. Luke is busy with baseball and basketball... he is trying out for baseball and basketball is in the final weeks... we finish in feb...
I am ready for spring break... isn't that sad...
I hope everyone is having a great year... sorry I am venting about my funky mood... JB

Today is my birthday and my boys did good. B made me a cake... I got a new camera and book from the boys. Shanna got me a new wallet... we are fixing to go on a date to see twilight. It is kinda bitter sweet because B leaves tomorrow. :(
Oh well, keep me in your thoughts, I will prolly sleep all day afer he leaves... Love and peace J
PS Luke has a nice black eye... Didn't realize that bball was such a contact sport...
